UPDATE: After talking with I have an update about BIOS 2.20 vs BIOS 2.30. You can download your copy today from the link located at the bottom of this article. Also, it is nice to know that once you have installed FunTuna on your PS2, you can easily make a copy from once Memory Card to another, allowing you to share the experience with your friends. With the latest advancements in hacking the PS2 ( FreeDVDBoot), now is a great time for users new to the scene to get involved and HWNJ's release has just made everything a whole lot easier for first time users. FunTuna only works on Slim PS2 models, even if they comes with BIOS 2.30 or above (SCPH-900XX), no matter the region and even works on emulators (PCSX2) and consoles with mod-chips installed. This project comes with custom versions of Fortuna, Free McBoot, uLaunchELF and the Free McBoot Configurator as well. If I happen to find anymore problems later down the line I'll be sure to update this post.Has released FunTuna at PSX-Place, which is a collection of existing PS2 homebrew that has been edited and packed for easy newbie consumption. This issue also occurs when using the command prompt directly with admin privileges.Įdit 2: I think I've solved the issue by just removing the iso from the launch arguments. Is there a specific command that I have to use so that the elf loads properly?Įdit: I decided to update to PCSX2 1.7.0-20200509175819, unfortunately it hasn't fixed the problem and it still happens exactly as described.
#Pcsx2 boot.elf mod
When I run the elf file by clicking the "Run ELF." button in PCSX2, the first line to appear in the console is, "HLE Host: Set 'host:' root path to: D:\ISOs\ps2\Persona 4\" and the mod I have installed works fine, however when I try to use the custom shortcut that I made it instead says, "HLE Notice: ELF does not have a path.", and the mod doesn't load. I'd like to quickly note that while the path is set to PCSX2 1.4.0, I'm running PCSX2 1.5.0-20200414184025. The specific commands I have set up to run P4 in Steam are - "C:\Program Files (x86)\PCSX2 1.4.0\pcsx2.exe" "D:\ISOs\ps2\Persona 4\Shin Megami Tensei - Persona 4 (USA).iso" -elf="D:\ISOs\ps2\Persona 4\SLUS_217.82.ELF" -fullscreen -nogui I have a HostFS mod set up so I need to use an ELF file to load the game. I'm trying to set up a Steam shortcut so that I can launch Persona 4 quickly.
